Me
Aloha, my name is Sarah!
I am someone who has always wandered through life with such intense curiosity and drawn to new people, places, and experiences. I constantly strive to expand my mind and immerse myself in new cultures. Bouncing around and growing up in the homes of different family member challenged me with a lifetime of obstacles; everything from being surrounded by addiction, growing up in poverty, navigating childhood neglect, and healing a lifetime of abuse and trauma. Understanding my upbringing gives you a sneak peak into what I've been through and reveals how much I have overcome.
My aunt once told me that not everyone deserves to know my story and she's right to a certain degree. I truly believe that my story was can show others just how much is possible. I went from living from paycheck to paycheck, surviving to living my best life and thriving! I'm not going to pretend that I have everything figured out and that my life doesn't still have constant challenges, but I truly believe that I have so much to offer the world with my perspectives. The people who I've helped have inspired me to continue down this path.
I'm a storyteller at heart. My grandfather says if you ask me the time I'll build you a watch...and he's not wrong! I'm a storyteller at heart, naturally expressive, intuitive, and curious about people. I care about organic and genuine connections. I think that shows in everything I do, from how I communicate to how I create. Lately that has been evolving into storytelling, content creation, and exploring a bigger voice.
I was born and raise in South Florida. I went to FSU to become a teacher in Early Childhood Education before switching my degree partway to Communications. After graduation I relocated to Colorado and lived there for about 6 years before selling everything I owned and moving to Hawaii. In between, I spontaneously spent 10 months full-time solo traveling throughout South East Asia, all the way to Norway.
I'm always creating movement between moving to different cities, states, or traveling throughout multiple countries every year branding a nomadic lifestyle. The only constant thing in my life has been change. I am always creating community wherever I go and now I am opening myself up to a wider radius- hoping to reach you :)
